WRITING - DIRECTING - DEVELOPMENT

Writer/director with over 10 years experience working for NETFLIX, DISNEY, NICKELODEON and APPLE TV.

I received three EMMY nominations for my writing/directing work on Angela's Christmas, an adaptation of Pulitzer prize-winning Frank McCourt's (Angela's Ashes) only children's book, Angela and the Baby Jesus.

In 2020 I received a further two EMMY nominations for the 45-minute sequel - Angela's Christmas Wish (Jared Harris, Ruth Negga, Caitriona Balfe) which I wrote and directed for Netflix.

Prior to the Angela’s Christmas films, I directed over 30 episodes of the Peabody award-winning Doc McStuffins for Disney. I was Supervising Director on Butterbean's Cafe for Nickelodeon and most recently, I worked as Supervising Director on Eva The Owlet for Scholastic Entertainment Inc. and Apple TV.

In 2022 I received a development grant from SCREEN IRELAND for my animated feature screenplay 'Two Mile Boris'.

I have extensive experience in project development, have worked professionally as a storyboard artist and editor and I am known to be a very production-friendly director with fast turnaround times and a keen sense of schedule requirements.
